Google Releases Chrome 11

After releasing Chrome 10 back in March, this week Google released Chrome 11. The newest version of Chrome contains several bug fixes for which they paid about $16500 to developers for finding them. As well as bug fixes there were some features that were added. One of the most significant being one that allows "speech input through HTML". Google Translate is one of the first to use the new feature. It works by speaking words to translate into a microphone, and it will translate the words into whatever language is specified. It will also speak back the translated text when clicking the "Listen" feature.

Chrome LogoAlong with the new browser, Google has updated the Chrome logo. It now looks flatter and simpler, which fits in more with the minimalist approach of the browser interfaces these days.
