Mac Mail Setup

Back to Email Client Setups

Open Mail.

Click on the Mail menu and select Preferences

Click Accounts

Click on the + symbol at the bottom left to add a new account.

Enter in your name, email address and password and click Continue.

 

  • Account Type: POP
  • Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • User Name: type in your email address
  • Password: type in your password

 

Click Continue.

Leave Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) unchecked.

Set Authentication to password and select Continue.

 

  • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Use Authentication: checked
  • User Name: type in your email address
  • Password: type in your password

 

Click Continue.

Leave Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) unchecked.

Set Authentication to password and select Continue.

You will receive an Account Summary. Click Create and you will have completed the setup.
