ISOCNET's Standard Mail has an address book, which is referred to as Contacts. The address book, or Contact List, can be accessed by clicking on the Contacts ribbon on the left hand side.

The contacts will be listed on the left hand side while details for each contact will be on the right hand side.

To add a new contact, click on the New menu and select Contact.

You can add in as much or as little information as you like, but an Email Address is needed to be able to use the contact to send email to. Click Save once completed.

Import Contact List

Contacts cans be imported from or exported to other email programs such as Outlook. Standard Mail will import and export address books that are in either a .csv format or a .vcf format (VCard). To import a contact list or address book, click on the Import/Export button and select Import.

Click the Browse button to select the file and then click the Open button.

You should see the selected file. Then click Next.

Map the contact fields from your imported file to Standard Mail fields by choosing them from the dropdown boxes.

Your contacts will then be imported.

Delete Contacts

You can delete contacts by checking the boxes next to the contacts you wish to delete. Select Actions and click Delete.

If you are sure you want to delete the contacts, click OK.

Export Contact List

When exporting your contact list, you can choose to export the whole list or just specific contacts. To export a contact list or address book, click on the Import/Export button and choose to export to a .csv file or a VCARD (for Outlook). You can also choose whether to export all of the contacts or just some of them.

You will then need to save the file (and make a note of where you save the file to). It will then be ready to import into another email program, or just store for backup purposes.

DID YOU KNOW?

To perform a search of your contacts, type the search criteria in the search bar located near the top of the content pane. Then click the magnifying glass or press ENTER on your keyboard. ISOCNET's Standard Mail will automatically search the the contacts list you are viewing for matches and display the results in the navigation pane.
